Description of the situation

The property is spread over 6 floors and it’s for mixed residential / commercial use, consisting of 135 subordinates. On the ground floor there are mainly commercial activities, on the upper floors there are only residential units. The needs for heating, domestic hot water production and cooling are met by autonomous systems.

The building envelope, that encloses the thermal areas subject to intervention, is composed by the first floor, the external perimeter walls, the roof and the internal walls that overlook the distribution corridor and the open stairwell.

The existing windows have various types of materials, such as wood, PVC etc.

Where it was not possible to carry out the inspection, a wooden window with single glass was hypothesized, which represents one of the most frequent cases.
